We offer an initial FREE 30 minute appointment with any one of our solicitors. When you make your appointment we will ask a few general questions about the nature of your enquiry, so that you meet with the solicitor most suited to help you.
At that appointment we will need to obtain some information from you in order that we can advise you. It would be helpful if you could bring with you to the appointment a note of any Court documents or letter that you may have received. We will advise you of the best way for you to proceed in order to resolve your issue.
If you decide to instruct us to assist you further or to proceed on your behalf, we will require you to provide us with two forms of identification namely :-
It would therefore be helpful if you brought these forms of identification with you to your initial free appointment, so that if you do instruct us to proceed on your behalf, we can do so without further delay.
For further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
From the outset we will give you a quote, based on the information provided, as to the likely costs that you will incur. Depending on the nature of your case, costs will be quoted on either a FIXED FEE basis or at an hourly rate. We will tell you immediately which applies to your matter and what our rates are. Throughout your case we will keep you informed and what the cost implications are if you have options and decisions to make.
For conveyancing matters a quotation will be provided for each individual transaction. We will endeavour to do our very best to adhere to the quote provided subject to there being no undue increases on terms such as disbursements or the provision of planning permissions, indemnity policies, etc.
During your case we may issue an interim bill, which we require payment within 28 days or there is the option of a payment plan, so that you are able to budget for your costs.
If you have a query relating to your account, your first point of contact is the person dealing with your matter. If you are unable to resolve your query with that person, you should contact either Edward Smyth or Ray Wood.
